Please carefully read the following instructions to properly use the annotation tool.
On the left side of the screen you find a list of videos. These videos need to be annotated when the icon is
, and are already annotated when the icon is .
On the right side of the screen, when a video is selected, you find a video player with an annotation bar and a SAM guideline. Recording of annotations begins by clicking on the video. Moving on the annotation bar changes the recorded annotation value for the selected emotional dimension (valence/arousal).
The annotations are saved only when the video has reached the end.
When you annotate a video already annotated, old records will be overwritten.

DANTE - Credits
DANTE (Dimensional ANnotation Tool for Emotions) is a project developed by the PHuSe Lab from Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy, in collaboration with the Département Informatique - Ecole Polytechnique de l'Université François Rabelais de Tours, France. The tool is part of a multimodal dataset acquired with the aim to study emotional response in presence of amusement stimulus. For more information or to use the tool in other works, please cite:
